Vehicle Battery Charger/Jump-Starter

We’ve all been in those sticky situations where we leave a battery in a vehicle that’s not on the road for a long period of time, or you’ve left the lights on in your car (interior lights) overnight, and you wakeup to go to work the following morning and your car battery is completely drained.
This can also happen, and believe me, I have been in this situation; you go to the beach or a BBQ and you decide to use your vehicle’s radio/stereo/iPod Jack for your music lovers, and to entertain your guests of course. You get to wound up with the get-together, that you totally forget to turn your car on every once in a while to charge the battery, so you are not left without music, a car that won’t start, and everyone starts clearing out thinking that the party is over.
I myself have learned from this situations; because I have had my battery die just from running into a store quickly, leaving my hazard lights on, or I have even hit the signal arm on my way out of the vehicle without even realizing I have done it! So, you get into the store, and something that was supposed to only take a few minutes, took a very long time, due to shortened staff at the registers, causing a big line-up.
So here is the scenario. I’ve pulled up to the very front of the store, put my hazard lights on so my car doesn’t get hit by someone driving by, and I have hit my signal light switch accidentally with my arm, while I was getting out of my vehicle. Of course, I didn’t realize or see that the signal my on, because I was running into the store.
After a very short errand turned into a very long wait, due to a lack of staff; I ended up being in the store for at least an hour or more. I didn’t know that I had turned on my signal by accident, so I thought that my vehicle would be okay for a long period of time with my hazard lights on. After all, they are hazard lights, and use hardly any of the battery, but again, I didn’t know that my signal was on, which would use a lot of my battery.
So I finally get out of the store, see that my signal was on as I am walking towards my vehicle, now praying that it was going to start. I didn’t have one or both of the very important devices that I should have had in my vehicle’s trunk or storage space, and these FOUR devices are:
- A BATTERY CHARGER,
- A BATTERY JUMP STARTER
- BATTERY JUMPER CABLES
- BATTERY TESTER
So, I get in my vehicle, and I turn the key, and I hear that dreadful sound! Click, click, click as I turn the key, which meant that my battery was completely drained, and therefore, my vehicle wasn’t going to start! Another important device that everyone usually has in their trunk or storage space is a set a Battery Jumpers; so you can ask someone if they would be nice enough to help you boost your vehicle, with their vehicle. After asking several people, no one actually wanted to help, because they were in too much of a hurry, or they didn’t have a set a jumper cables in their vehicles either!
I didn’t have CAA, and/or any other type of roadside assistance, and now I was literally stuck calling an expensive Towing Company to come and charge me top-dollar for a 5min jumpstart!
